These drawings were created for my art GCSE final piece and had to be a mix in styles from my own and a chosen artist. The artist that I chose scribbled over areas of their piece to create areas in which the viewer can interpret their own idea of what the piece would look like, similar to a jigsaw puzzle.
This was a quick drawing I did of Lil Peep. In my opinion this is my favourite piece I’ve done and I particularly like the subtle touch of red among the black and white to give the drawing some extra dimension. To improve I would make sure the hair on the sides of his head look more realistic by watching tutorials on YouTube and other areas in which I can learn.
This piece was to quickly sketch out what my 3D fantasy room was going to look like. The final room base turned out almost exactly how I imagined it and this sketch really helped in the creation.
These are just a few different logos that I was experimenting with.
These sketches were part of a character design specialism in which you had to experiment with different shapes and sizes to create a certain type of character that uses attributes from your references, one of which was Dick Grayson’s Robin from Young Justice. I really enjoyed the build up to the final piece and thought the experimenting was extremely useful however I wasn’t too happy with the final outcome due to the proportions not complimenting each other.
